Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and Onlays provide more comprehensive structural support than a regular filling, and are more conservative than a crown. Inlays are designed and constructed in a lab then bonded into the tooth. Onlays are similar to Inlays in composition, but are bonded onto the top of the tooth to reinforce the structure. As with crowns, Dr. Blum uses both ceramics (porcelains) and gold for these procedures.
